Greater Lafayette Bowling Association Annual meeting will be held at the Southside Library on Johnston Street
across from Giles Automotive Saturday July 27th, 2024. Meeting starts at 10 am. We look forward to seeing you there!
2023 Greater Lafayette Bowling Association "Hall of Fame" inductee.
Ms. Dwanna Touchet served in the Unites States Army 1992-1998.
Dwanna started bowling at 8 years old. She rolled her first 200 game at 11 years of age.
In Lafayette, Dwanna started adult leagues in the Ladies Major league at Lafayette Lanes. Dwanna has maintained a 200 average since 2009.
Her honor scores are many. She has 2 perfect 300 games, April 2022 & September 2022, and 1 800 series. She rolled an 815 series in 2012 (278, 279,258). 815 is currently the record series for ladies in Lafayette, La.
Dwanna has 15 City Championships, 3 Louisiana State Championships along with several local and regional tournaments.
Dwanna continues to bowl at a high level.

Cindy began bowling in Lafayette in 1977. Cindy served for 15 years as President of the Greater Lafayette Women's Bowling Association. She served as the first President of the Greater Lafayette USBC Bowling Association President (consolidated in 2018). Cindy's Titles include the 1998 WIBC Women's National Doubles Championship. 5 time Louisiana State Champion. 15 Lafayette City Tournament Championships. She is the current Lafayette Senior Ladies Champion along with the Louisiana State Senior Women's Championship (2023). in 2023, Cindy competed in her 33rd USBC National Championship. Cindy has rolled 2 300 games and a 298 game. Her high sanctioned series is 719.

Mrs. Beth DeLaune Comeaux has bowled for 40 years starting in Lafayette Adult/Youth bowling leagues. She was a member of the University of Louisiana (USL) Ragin Cajun' Bowling teams Sectional Championship team in 1986. Beth was a member of the PWBA Regional Association. She served as Coke League President and as a member of the Lafayette Women's Board of Directors. Beth was the first woman to roll a perfect 300 game at Lafayette Lanes. Beth has 2 - 300 games and numerous 700 series. High series 775. Her league high average is 207. In 2014, Beth was the N.R.Duff City Champion Singles, Lafayette Women's Champion and has several women's and Louisiana State championships.

Glynn Arceneaux has served as the University of Louisiana Ragin Cajun Bowling Coach for 45 years. Glynn has 2 Louisiana State Team titles, 1 Emerald Coast Team Championship and 1 Dr. Pepper Team Championship.
Glynn started bowling in 1966 has has never missed a league season to date. Mr. Arceneaux has served as League President, Secretary or Treasurer for the last 40 years. Glynn served as Louisiana State Youth Bowling Association Secretary/Treasurer from 1986 to 2004 and Louisiana Bowling Proprietors ABoard member from 1989 to 2014. Glynn was a member of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Bowling Team from 1975 to 1979. His team finished 10th at the ABC Bowling Spectacular National Collegiate Finals in Oklahoma City in 1976.

Mike is the son of "Hall a Fame" member Nolan Broussard. Mike is a life long league bowler in Lafayette. Mr. Broussard has won 35 league championships. Mike won 3 N.R.Duff City Championships and 12 Knights of Columbus Tournaments. Mike has a league average high of 231 for a full season. Mike won the 2012 Emerald Coast Singles Championship with a 790 series. He has 6 "300" games and 2 "800" series. Mike shot a "819" series in the Louisiana State Championships in Houma, La. in 2010. Mr. Broussard served on the Lafayette Bowling Association for 2 years. Inducted into the "GLBA Hall of Fame" 2019.
Butch Cormier inducted 2015. Butch is also a member of the Louisiana State Bowling "Hall of Fame". Butch has rolled 104 "300 Games" and 50 "800 series". Butch rolled a perfect "300" game at the USBC National Championships in Las Vegas in 2017.
Purvis Granger PBA Champion, PBA Regional Champion, Louisiana State Champion, Lafayette City Champion. Purvis holds several PBA records, Highest opponents average against in the T.V. Finals. Purvis holds the record for highest match game tie in PBA history 300-300 against Norm Duke. Purvis was inducted in 2007.
Jim Van Arlsdale inducted 2000. Jim has been involved in coaching and the Lafayettte Bowling association for 20 plus years. Jim served as President and Vice President. Jim has 10 300 games and a series high of 795. Jim has won several State and City Championships along with a 3rd place finish at the U.S. Scratch Match and 2nd place finish at the Jamie Daigle National Family Tournament. Jim was inducted into the Louisiana State Hall of Fame in 2009. Jim has rolled a 700 series right handed and left handed. 2018 N.R. Duff City Champion Doubles. 2019 Louisiana Senior State Champion.
John Cormier Sr inducted 2004. Renella Cormier inducted 2017.
John is also a member of the Louisiana State Bowling "Hall of Fame".
Mrs Renella served as the Lafayette Youth Coordinator for 30 + years.
Derwin Petri was inducted in 2008. Mr. Pitre was a member of Team USA in 2000 and 2001 winning 2 Team Gold medals and a Doubles Silver medal while representing TEAM USA. Derwin's other accomplishments include: 2010 USBC Team All Events Champion. 2 PBA Regional titles. 2012 National BTM Champion. Mr. Petri won the Bowler's Journal Doubles Championship, multiple Louisiana State titles and Lafayette City titles. Derwin won the 2017 Southern Bowling Congress Doubles Champion. Mr. Petri has multiple 300 and 800 series. Derwin shot a perfect 300 game at USBC Nationals in Corpus Christi, Texas. Derwin is also a member of the Louisiana State Bowling Hall of Fame.
Rhonda Bulliard is the only woman in Lafayette Bowling History to roll back-to-back 300 games in league play (August 21st, 2017). Rhonda shot 813 in 2012 (267,278,268). Rhonda has 4 Louisiana State Championships and several City Championships. Rhonda was inducted in 2017.
Mr. Larry Sifton 2017 inductee. Winner 1 United States Bowling Congress NATIONAL Championship and 3 Louisiana State Men's Bowling Championships.
Mr. Nolan Broussard 1999 inductee. Mr. Nolan won two Lafayette City Championships and 1 Grandfathers Tournament Championship. Mr. Nolan was President of the Lafayette Bowling Association in 1966-1969. He became Louisiana State Bowling Association President in 1969- 1980.
Mr. Kieth Duhet 2017 inductee. Mr. Keith has coached high school bowling for 20 years. He has been a member of the Lafayette Bowling Association Board of Directors for 20 plus years. He currently serves as Vice President of the Greater Lafayette USBC Bowling Association.
Hall of Fame Member
Mr Tom J. Stoma 1928 - 2016. Tom won 50 bowling tournaments in his 50 year bowling career. Tom bowled his first 300 game in the early 1960's. Tom held the highest men's average in Lafayette for more than 10 years. Mr. Stoma served as President of the Lafayette Men's Bowling Association for several years.
Mr. LeBlanc has been a member of the Professional Bowlers Association for 40 years. Avery has qualified for the T.V. finals of 12 pro telecast. Avery has numerous 300 and 800 series. He won Lafayette City Championships and several State and National Championships. Avery has a life time average of 221.
Inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2007.
Mr. Alan Pourciaux has served the Lafayette Bowling communicate for more that 20 years as a member of the Lafayette Men's Bowling Association. Alan is currently Youth Committee Director of the Greater Lafayette USBC Board of Directors.
Mr. Mark Creekmore & Ms. Valarie Ellerbee inducted in 2017.
Mr. Jay Caldwell member of the Lafayette Bowling Association Hall of Fame.
Mr. LeBlanc was the manager of Lafayette Lanes for more that 20 years. Randy also served as the state supervisor for Melco Bowling Inc. for several years. Randy was an accomplished bowler and a leader among the Lafayette Bowling Community for decades.
Mr. Ronnie Landry started bowling at 4. Ronnie has 4 perfect games. His first was at the age of 17. He rolled the other 3 at the age of 63,64,65. He competed in ABC Nationals at 17. He finished 2nd in Doubles at ABC Nationals with his partner Tatot Signorelle. Ronnie served on the Lafayette Men's Bowling Association for 25 years. Ronnie has won Louisiana State Championships in singles, doubles and team. He has also won City Championships in Singles, doubles,team and all events. Ronnie's high series is 793. Highest Book average 217.
Beatrice "Bee" Duff inducted in 1999. Mrs. Bee was a life long bowler and supporter of women's bowling in Lafayette. Beloved by all!
Mr. Nehman Ray Duff. Beloved member of the Lafayette Bowling Community. Mr. Duff was a member of the professional Bowlers association in the 1060's as well as a member of the famed Budweiser National team in the 1950's.
Mr. Duff was the manager of Lafayette Lanes for 30 plus years.
Ms. Darlene LeBlanc inducted in 2007.
Tommy Williams inducted 2001.
Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Williams inducted in 1999.

Mr. Lester Joseph was inducted in 2012. Lester has 11 300 games along with 4 N.R. Duff City Championships. Mr. Joseph has bowled in leagues in Lafayette all of his life.
Mr. Breaux is a life long bowler in Lafayette Louisiana. Brian served on the Lafayette Men's Bowling Association Board of Directors as well as the Louisiana State Board of Directors. Brian is a member of the Louisiana State Bowling "Hall of Fame".
Mr. Gallet was inducted in 2000. Kirk served as a member of the Lafayette Men's Bowling Association for years.
Ken is a life long bowler in Lafayette and has served as League President and on the Lafayette Bowling Association Board.
Mrs. Jackie LeBlanc was inducted in 2008. Mrs. Jackie spent 50 years in the Lafayette Bowling Community as a manager and a youth league coordinator. Beloved by everyone who ever meet her, Mrs. Jackie awesome!
Inducted into the local hall of fame in 2001. Started bowling in 1966 under the coaching of Anna Belle Richard. Member of the University of Louisiana (USL) Ragin' Cajun Bowling Team from 1973 to 1978. His team finished 10th at the ABC Bowling Spectacular National Collegiate Finals in Oklahoma City in 1976 and was the intercollegiate league team champion. Five state titles including 1993 state champion. 2003 Southern Bowling Congress champion while reigning as the N. R. Duff city champion. Won the BR Singles Tournament in 2001 after finishing second twice. Two time defending Dr. Pepper team champion. Won other tournament championships and league champion. Joined the PBA in 1987. Bowled in PBA national and regional tournaments. Served on the Lafayette Bowling Association board from 1993-2005 including association president from 2004-2005. Served as the first A&A Restoration Tournament Director. Final ABC National Director for the State of Louisiana prior to the merger with WIBC. Life member of USBC
